The Hinman Family Association was organized in 1974 by a small group of genealogy enthusiasts and distant cousins including Munson B. Hinman, Jr., Laurin E. Hinman, Donald G. Hinman, and Betty K. Barry. The association now has hundreds of members and almost 50,000 names in our online databse. Our mission is to learn about our forefathers Sgt. Edward Hinman and John Hinman including their origins in England, and to complete the family trees of their descendants.
